For Churches & Non-Profits

intentional and relational

We believe communications is more than a marketing tool—it is ministry.

Every message shapes how people experience your community. It also shapes how they understand your mission and how they are invited to participate in the work you are doing.

Shared Challenges

Churches and nonprofits alike often find themselves with the same obstacles

Communications handled by staff or volunteers already carrying too much

Websites and social media that don’t reflect the depth of the mission

Messaging that works internally but doesn’t connect with those on the outside looking in

Both need communications that reach new people and build trust. The goal is to reflect who they truly are.

Distinct Needs

Church communication reflects worship and discipleship. It grows out of shared community life.

Messages should extend hospitality and speak with theological depth. They should reflect the rhythm of congregational life.

Nonprofits communicate through the lens of impact and service.

Messages should highlight impact. They should connect with community partners and show why the work matters now.

Though the contexts differ, both are rooted in a call to serve others and to share a story that matters.

Our Role

Digital Congregations works with faith communities and nonprofits to develop language and strategy that reflect who they are. This work also provides tools that help extend their reach.

Support may take different forms over time. It may involve refining a message. It may involve strengthening a digital presence. It may involve equipping staff with practices they can sustain.

The approach may vary. The conviction remains the same:

Communications is ministry.

Done well, it nurtures belonging and builds trust. It creates space for people to encounter the work you are called to do.
